Website Organisation

The following is an alphabetical list of how to achieve tasks on the site

Most of these task now need rewriting following the move to the WordPress website.

Adding a User or Group Leader

Changing the author of a Forum post

  1. You can only change it in cPanel > phpMyAdmin database manager.
  2. You need to find the User ID of the existing author and the User ID of the new author in 'wp_users table'.
  3. Then search for the post in '_wpforo_posts' table.
  4. Then change the 'userid' field to that of the new author.
  1. Then navigate in Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page and click on [Delete all caches] button.
  1. Admin = ID 1
  2. Hattie = ID 4
  3. Bob = ID 6

Email Functions - Approve posts to Committee

  1. Log into cPanel
  2. Go to Mailing Lists and click to Manage the Committee List.
  3. Select the Option: Tend to pending moderator requests (the the top right hand side).
  4. Select Accept (in this case) and submit.

  2. Upload the PDF to > ####
